CAA is the workplace health and safety regulator under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) for the civil aviation system.

Maritime New Zealand is the 'regulator' under HSWA for work on board ships and for ships as workplaces.

WorkSafe NZ is the health and safety regulator for land-based workplaces.
